• Courtesy Tow: This term typically refers to a service where a vehicle is moved without formal charges or enforcement actions. For example, a vehicle may be relocated within a property (e.g., from one parking area to another) as a favor to a property owner or to improve access.
• Tow by the Hour: This service is for specific requests, such as moving construction vehicles, show cars, or assisting with mechanical issues. Instead of charging per mile, the fee is based on the time spent on the job.

A lien is placed on your vehicle when towing and storage fees remain unpaid after a certain period, as per Arizona law. This lien allows the towing company to recover unpaid costs by auctioning the vehicle. To avoid a lien, ensure prompt payment of all fees.
